Buffering & freezing
Most buffering comes from the home network — weak Wi-Fi, busy bandwidth or an overloaded streaming device — rather than the stream itself. Work through the checks below in order; most people find the cause within the first three.
Read the fixLogin errors
Login errors almost always come from a small typing difference in the server URL, username or password, or from an expired trial. Copy the details character-for-character from your account email.
Read the fixChannels not loading
If channel lists don’t appear, the playlist usually needs to be refreshed or the app couldn’t finish downloading it. If the list appears but a channel won’t play, the problem is usually limited to that channel.
Read the fixEPG / TV guide
If your plan includes guide data, a missing or wrong guide usually means the EPG hasn’t downloaded yet, isn’t added in the app, or the time zone is off. Guide data can take several minutes on first load.
Read the fixConnection limit
A connection is one stream playing at the same time. A 1-connection plan lets you install the app on several devices, but only one can watch at a time. “Max connections reached” means another stream is still active on your account.
Read the fixNetwork issues
Live TV is more sensitive to network quality than on-demand video, because there’s little time to buffer ahead. A stable connection matters more than raw speed.
Read the fixVPN issues
VPNs add an extra hop between you and the stream. That can lower speed, add delay and cause drops, especially on low-power streaming sticks. If you use one, test with it switched off to see whether it’s the cause.
Read the fixAudio issues
Most audio problems come from the device’s audio output format, the player’s audio track selection or a soundbar/AV receiver passing through formats it can’t decode.
Read the fixBlack screen
A black screen — with or without sound — usually points to a video decoder or display connection issue on the device, not your account. Changing the player’s decoder setting fixes most cases.
Read the fixDevice compatibility
Sonix IPTV works through IPTV player apps, so compatibility depends on whether a good player is available for your device. Fire TV, Android TV/Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, Apple devices and most recent Samsung and LG TVs work well. Roku has limited support.
